Hattie Jacobson is a passionate family law attorney offering thoughtful, client-centered legal representation in a wide variety of family law issues. Whether guiding clients through divorce, child custody disputes, or complex financial matters, Hattie provides dedicated advocacy with a focus on achieving the best possible outcome for her client and their families.
Recently licensed, Hattie brings a fresh perspective and empathetic approach to the practice of family law. Hattie understands that family law issues are deeply personal and often emotional. As such, Hattie takes the time to understand each client’s unique situation, working closely with them to address their legal challenges while offering the support and clarity they need during difficult times. Whether through negotiation, mediation, or litigation, Hattie strives to ensure that clients feel heard, understood, and protected throughout the legal process.
Hattie earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. While in law school, Hattie was a Lead Articles Editor for the Loyola Law Journal and was appointed to serve on the Student Bar Association Executive Board as the Director of Records and Barrister’s Ball. As a result of her commitment to the law school community, Hattie was awarded the Loyola University Chicago School of Law Leadership Service & Public Interest Award in gratitude and recognition for exemplary contributions made to the School of Law and the surrounding community.
During law school, Hattie also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable William Stewart Boyd in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Domestic Relations Division. Hattie’s time working in the Domestic Relations Division was an invaluable experience, which deepened her legal and procedural knowledge of family law while developing her passion for advocacy in the practice area.
